Last Flight for the Week?Month?Year?
Last call, last call for the Last Flight through my Fucked Up Life. Passengers boarding, Captain ready... take off!!!! (I know its lame. Sue me.)
Today's lab session was interesting. We were supposed to take swabs of our skin, mouth , ear, and nose to be stained and examined under the microscope. You should see this guy stuff the stick up his nose. Damn eww... I collected T's saliva, YK collected S's mouth, and S took vaginal swab. Hmmm... wonder how she did it... Attention all girl passengers, would you let your vagina to be swabbed... Wonder how you would feel to have something probing down there. *brrr* I get shivers just talking bout it. Next!!
Nothing much to blog since i blog yesterday. Played Risk with Sheena, Yean Koon, Daniel, ChiaLiang and Raj, wanted to blog bout it, but Sheena did more glory to it. Yes, here is to Risk.
I would like to take this opportunity to also promote my god-son's Fernando's mother's blog. Look it up man. It's gonna be super cool. Oh, you are asking who Fernando's mother is? Why, is none other than our batch's Chan Yean Koon, better known as YK, who has a twin that's call Koon Chan Yean (Oh, Sheena's joke).

Remember the Enchantress picture that i posted up a few posts away, drawn by Daniel Tan, better known as Danny or Dan-na-yel(my nickname for him). Kudos, brother. Draw more!!! Below is the short post that i dedicate to him.
About computer graphics. Computer graphics covers a really wide scope, consisting of 3D and abstract. Most of the graphics you see online are hand drawn before they are scanned into the computer to be coloured. For it is really difficult to draw with a mouse so nicely. But the process to color it is also difficult.
There are also graphics that are created from photos and edited. A totally new picture can be formed. For example:
But the real feat is to draw on the computer itself and create full 3-d pictures. For many gamers, they would know that most computer games have 3-d computer graphics. And a computer graphic is very distinct. You can actually tell that they are drawn straight on the computer.

Notice the difference right? It's like Shrek, or Toy Story... computer animations, them all.
But the thing is, really good computer graphics are the one that are CG but do not look like CG. Confused? Gamers would understand no? Most of the movies uses CG now. To create explosions and chaos. But the real challenge comes when you create moving living objects, ie humans and animals.

Notice anything? Both are CG, but one looks more real than the other.
Real good human CG has not been seen in cinemas yet, not yet. There is one tho, and won praises from critics for the sheer amazingness of the CG. Final Fantasy: The Spirit Withins, 2001. The company that produced it produces RPGs that have sold billions.
