Updates, updates Everywhere...
Whoa, its like so long since I last updated. My, my, my...must at least post sth today. *glance at the hp* Okay, one more hour to pbl (its 9.30 now) and there is still my pbl to do(today's pbl is pbl 2). Just got my trigger today. So gonna make this quick.
Ok, let's get down to business. Things to blog about... hmm...strange, can't think of any. Anyway, let's just go along and see what come out of this mind of mind.
Let's start with Thur, since i last updated on wed.
At CG on thur, we had a really funny 'game'. As you guys would OR wouldn't know, our CG always starts with a game and our game master of the day, Shi Ching wasn't there becos he has a rendevous with Tim Sung. *shiver* Now that's freaky. Anyways, coming back to the CG 'game', our mommy, dear old Ah Gong came up with a game that has each of us scratching our heads and going "...Huh?" The game goes like this. Each one of us is suppose to reveal a secret that no one knows. And I went "Excuse me? What is the point of calling it a secret if you tell everyone, no?" But i went along with it in the name of the spirit of brotherhood(or izzit sisterhood? Or maybe siblinghood as there are both males and females. Argh, wateva!) We started with Grace(donnit to wet your pants for that secret, aint gonna tell.) But i will tell Jody's secret which sparked a heated argument/discussion at the CG.
Below is a rough version of the conversation about it.
Jody: I do not wear underwear when I sleep.
All: Hmm...
Daniel: Hey, that's not a secret. It's normal what!"
Girls: Huh????
Daniel: Yeah, if you wear it stunts growth.
Girls: Really???
Daniel: Don't tell me girls wear your bra at night, meh?
Girls: Erm... uh... no?
Daniel: That's why. When i was in secondary school, my frens and I did a survey.
Girls: Huh?
Daniel: If the girl wear bra at night to sleep, she got small breast.
Girls: How the hell you do that!!
So Daniel launched into this experiment he did with his friends. They go up to the girl, and just ask whether if she wears bra to sleep or not. But they do not tell the reason why the ask the question. And while the girl answers the question, they study to breasts to see whether they are big or small.
Hmm... the thing that bothers me is...a guy comes up to you and ask such a personal and intimate question, wont you feel strange. I would be so tempted to just slap the guy and walk off.
So the next thing I do (wen it was my turn),
I just grin and said, "I too do not wear anything."
Someone went, "We know that dee."
And i answered, "And I mean I wear nothing at all!!!"
They went, "Ohhhhh"
And i laughed, "Just joking!"
Things we do at CG...sigh....
And thur night, went over to Sheena's place to get Victor who is taking photographs. Someone just poked his head in and wondered what photographs, or precisely whose photos. Ok, its not Sheena's naked photos or anything, k? It's just that Sheena likes the view of her apt, so asked Victor to take pictures of the view. So we went over to just look around and I did not know that it would take so damn bloody long just to get a perfect picture. I was bored, so I kidnapped (monkeynapped) Fernando, YeanKoon's monkey and played with it(him). And I did things with him like dressing him up in lingeries. They are hanging all over the place and I was tempted to just play. I first put Fernando into Sheena's singlet(was it a singlet?) And then wrapped him in sheena's skirt - you know the white with blue patches one? And just for fun, i used Sheena's bra to form a hammock for him. Tried to make him wear it, but it was too big for him. No, it's not D-cup or anything, its just that the monkey is small. Then I found out the perfect wear for him. A bishop's mitre. Pope Fernando. It was perfect. The bra cup forms the two thingy at the top. He actually looked good.
When you are bored, you'll do anything, including playing with your friend's bra. My...
Ok, sign off, but not out. Going PBL now. Will continue the post later.
Ok, i'm back for the next session of posting. Skipping a lecture so i can get tis thing done. Damn, I'm like so dedicated man. I know, i know, someone of you would be like..."what a waste of time" or "dedication channeled to the wrong area" and what not. But damn, the lecture is about the nature of family medicine. Hallo?
Anyway, where was I? Yup, things to update. And the biggest update of last week is...*drumroll*...the results of the Game Critics Award of E3 2004. Ok, you guys that are not interested can just skip over to the next section which is football which is just below. For the rest, read on to find out the best games of this year.
You guys would have read my post on the recent E3. If not, just check it out or you wont understand what is going on. For the rest who awaits eagerly for the results, come over here. I must say that it was as expected, but i AM PISSED with Halo2 getting the Best Console Game. But I am biased. I hate XBox and I hate first person shooter. Halo2 just sucks. Splinter Cell 3 sucks too. But I've only played the PS2 version of SC2. The best racing game is Burnout3!!! Like so expected man. Burnout is the game where you drive cars and gain points by crashing into other cars. More cars you destroy, the highed the point. Those who went to Malacca with us M2/03 would know. Chia Liang managed to get a damage point of $40 million!!! Can't wait for Burnout3. Will get it asap. The other winner is Bioware's latest Jade Empire which is pretty good, but in opinion not as good as Final Fantasy XII. But the biggest winner, The Best of the Show, my proudest champion, SONY PSP the coolest thing now. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I won RM20 for betting on this baby man! It sure rocks the house down.
Now unto the next thing that happened today. Euro2004, France vs England. And no surprise France won! *do a cartwheel, somersault thru the air, do a dance, a head stand, all the while screaming: England sucks, England sucks!* I betted on that game. Not much. France won by one ball, I win RM20. England first goal, I lost RM5. Zidane's two balls, RM5 each.Hmm...that sounded really wrong. Zidane's two balls? I mean Zidane scored 2 balls.
So I'm happy, everyone's happy. And everyone say: FRANCE IS THE BEST!!!. Amen.
Oh ya, cannot forget about the debate training we had just now. The motion of the day: This House will include INTERVIEWS in the admission process to critical courses in public universities. We had the choice of choosing This House protects Football Clubs, but we figure the interview thingy sounds much easier. Boy, were we wrong!
First of all the pairing: me-Sheena, Adeline-Vasan, YeePei-Richard, Grace-Rahman. Given the motion, we went off to prep, and there are only 2 SRC members in this debate, and they happen to be paired, so used the SRC room. Whoa, abuse of fascilities!!!!Hahaha!!
I am on the opening opposition and we say: Stick to the status quo. Is fine, no? Actually personally, I feel that the interview is a good idea, but after listening to us arguing it out, i feel that interview would be a waste of gov. money, tho it doesn't bother me yet, just later with all the increased tax and stuff. I mean, IMU too have interviews, but I still got in. The gov said that interviews will test the maturity level of applicants? Excuse me? I'm like the living proof of immaturity, and I am studying medicine, just in case they don't know. So all in all, I'm still wondering if interviewing is a good idea after all. Students lie, I lied too. Students fake to impress, me as a student can vouch for that. Wat the gov is trying to say is the the 15mins we have for interview is enuff to judge the applicants' cognitive skills, knowledge, earnesty...(there is 8, YeePei counted it), but they are wrong...I think...And lecturers being the interviewers...can't imagine Dhruba interviewing, or TinOng for that matter!
So leave a comment, should interview be included? But it doesn't concern me anymore, no? Since i'm already here studying medicine, hehehe.
I think that would be enough for one day no? My posts are like extremely long, no? Why not let you guys, the passengers choose - to have a long journey, or short trip? Leave some comments, or just leave sth on the suggestion box.
And so now I sign off with:
"Though this world may be wicked, life itself is precious!
Good and Evil, Love and Hate.
Each man contains the potential for both.
You would exterminate mankind for their sins?
I would fight the Gods themselves to save them!"
