Make me Over?
Today a friend came up to me and said
"Elena, I am going to give you a make over."
And I stared at her like a rabbit staring at a greyhound and ready to run. My eyes were wide and I took a step away from her. I swear she was just going to pounce on me and start stripping me and forcing me into girly clothes.
EEEEEWWWWW!!!!
Quoting her, "You have good skin, you have to change your hairstyle, what's up with the baggy clothes hiding that figure..."
And I ran before she could even finish.
1. Good skin... yup I have that. So?
2. My hairstyle. It is bad enough I am leaving it long. I am so tempted to hack the whole thing off.
3. Figure? what figure?
I like the way I am just fine, thank you very much. Tons of my girl-friends have proclaimed: "We one day will give you a total make over"
And let's just say, none of them succeeded.
I do not really get why these friends of mine want to give me a makeover desperately. Just listening to your plans are enough to freak me out. Sorry for sounding rude, but I really thank God that I never got changed.
Why would people want to change me?
Me: I donnit to impress anyone or any guy.
GraceL: True, but you need to make your guy look good.
Me: *raised one eyebrow in utter disbelief*
Reasons that people should not change me/I don't want to change:
1. Which part of tomboy that is not clear?
2. I look better in a shirt and slacks than being in a dress.
3. Messy defines me: Organised Chaos.
4. I am too lazy to look nice.
5. PSP can never fit into whatever you all want to make me over with.
6. Make over means tons of money forked out. Sorry, PS3 is expensive.
7. Wearing a dress is dangerous (imagine alot of wind, running, copping a feel...)
8. I don't need guys gawking at me.
9. I am in a profession which is a very boy's club orientated job.
10. I am nice the way I am. Change me and I may become a bitch *shrug*
So don't change me. I am not worth the time.
So do you really think I need to get a makeover?
If all my readers out there can give me 10 good reasons why I must change, I will start considering (CONSIDERING ONLY).
Any tortures not involving pain, humiliation, or stickiness?
