Road paved on 4:08 PM |

19 hours to go...

...before lift off! Finally finish packing. Which was pretty fast considering I started yesterday. So now got time to sit down and walk quickly through what the hell have been going on through my fucked up life for the past 3 weeks.

Firstly, my application for Visa.Thank the Australians for nearly screwing this one up. Thank God for His miracle. We need to do 3 things before we can apply for our student visa.
1. Receive Letter of Offer
2. Titi (Telegraphic Transfer) our deposit to UQ
3. Receive Confirmation of Enrolment (COE)
And we will use the COE to apply for our visa.We started callin UQ for our letter of offer on 18th, after our viva.

With all the holidays of the past month and Australians being lazy buggers, things could only get moving on the 2nd of Jan. And so we waited for our Letter of Offer...
2nd Jan (Tues) - The guys called Uni of Q, they say will arrive in the evening.
3rd Jan (Wed) - Called UQ again, again they promise will arrive soon.
4th Jan (Thurs) - Friends received letter of offer. I did not due to wrong email address. Haha. Managed to clear it with IMU. So I got my Letter too. TT-ed the money. UQ said as long as they received the fax of receipt, they will give COE.
5th Jan (Fri) - Called UQ. Said will probably get today.Waiting...Waiting...
Monday - Called UQ again. Said will probably get today or tomorrow. Adrian got his.
Tuesday - Called UQ again. Will get today.
Wednesday - Ditto above.
Thursday - Raj and Ying Wei got theirs in the morning. Daniel and I waited and kept on calling and finally the blardy email arrived via Haslinda BUT my COE wasn't in there!!! And Daniel's name was wrong!

Daniel: "They just have to screw up the last two people"

Friday - Called again early in the morning. Daniel got his at 10.00am. An email came for me at 11.00am, but the COE was Daniel's!!! WTF?! At once emailed UQ and finally the correct COE arrived. Grr....

So now you understand how stupidly difficult to get our visas done on time? It ain't our fault that we did our visa late, it is those stupid idiots fault. But thank God I received my Visa yesterday. God is good.

And just a few hours ago, Richard called to tell me that Raj, Daniel and I were posted to the Southern Division where else everyone else in Central. Again, what the fuck?!!! I thought we fucking cleared this up like three months back!!

For those who don't know, Brisbane is divided to Central and Southern and once in a division, you don't get to change divisions unless you are unlucky and they throw you around like a ragdoll. Phang stays in Central and he was thrown from southern to central and back to southern like nobody's business and his transportation is about 1+++ hrs per trip.

We have personally called Karen Faithful and she promised that all of us would be in
the Central division, so we were all gungho about finding houses in central division dee. But faithful my foot! Unfaithful only betul. Sheesh...

Okay, coming back to me getting ready to leave.

I went for wisdom tooth extraction last Saturday. On Friday night I was trying to get an appointment.

Nurse: Tomorrow no place la for appointment. On Monday can?
Me: No problem for me, but tell the doctor I leaving Malaysia on Friday morning.
Nurse: What?!!! Wait... I go ask doctor.
Few seconds later.
Nurse: Doctor say boleh.
Talk about efficacy!

So I went for the extraction - TWO some more.
Doctor: Why did you come to see me so late?
Me: I thought that it would be awesome to eat all my favourite food first before I get into a surgery that would make it incapable of eating those favourite food again.
Doctor: *glare at me*

So I just came back from my appointment to remove my stitches and everything was a-okay. Who says you can't rush recovery? Haha. With a positive mind, anything is possible.

Two weeks back, my greatest worry before leaving was that I won't get to finish playing Final Fantasy XII before I leave. But I have *glee!!!* and I was also worried that I would not get my PSP updated by a professional here. Well, again *glee!!!* I managed to update Peesp myself. It was such a scary process because if you screw up 1 step, you get a very pretty and expensive brick for the foundation of your house. I was having tachycardia the entire time I was doing it. I read and re-read the README for God knows how many times, but thank God everything went fine and Peesp is now ready for transportation and gloria! He plays playstation 1 games too!

And now my biggest regret... I haven't even start playing Okami (one of the best games of 2006). Sigh...

And my 80 gig external harddisk decide to last minute konk out on me!! ARGH!!! You stupid thing, what the fuck did you do this to me! 50++ gigs of Manga/Ebooks all down the drain. Do you feel my pain! Oh... the pain, so cruel, life is no more worth living. My life line, my life work... oh the pain. I managed to salvage some of the manga, but the rest... sob, I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Anyway, I'm ready to leave... can't wait, can't wait. It would be like going for a holiday!!! Can't wait. My luggage weighs 23kg (I have a limit of 30kg), I'm pretty amazed that my luggage is so light, cos I have so many clothes. Maybe because I'm smaller size, so less cloth is used. Haha. Can't wait to leave! My laptop is already wrapped and ready in my brand new Targus backpack. Peesp is fully charged and cleaned and packed into Targus. Max is still charging, but all set to leave.

Oh, I can't wait to leave!!!

Run run or you'll be well done!- Kefka, Final Fantasy VI

Nanza Resident: Oh, yeah. Well, I guess I'm screwed.
