Road paved on 2:00 AM |

July 26th...

20 years ago, on the eve of July 26, the town of Klang was silent. Nothing stirred, not even a mouse. Okay, maybe a rat did move, it's Klang, it's rat-infested. But that's beside the point. Whatever that moved on Earth was nothing compared to the anxious pacing of Archangel Michael at the throne of God and the nervous thrumming of Fallen Angel Lucifer's fingers on his throne in Hell. Angels rushed back and forth, demons and devils dashed through the Lake of Fire and Abyss of Oblivion. All awaited with bated breath.

Then the moment came, a newborn child was delivered from the darkness of her mother's womb, free from the warm sanctuary that she was created, and at that exact moment, all of Heaven was in an uproar, all nine levels of Hell was in an upheavel. The Earth heaved and the cracking of the World began.

And who was the baby girl?
Who else but .... me.
Haha, yup, it's my birthday, the day I was born 20 years ago.

Sheena: Elena, you are not child-borned, you are demon-spawned.

and I'm sad to announce that I am no more a teen. Sob sob...

But since it's my birthday, no point crying over spilt milk. Only 1 more year to go before that golden key of freedom... so what to expect this year from me?

Gongster asked me to act my age; I do, don't I? I'm not yet an adult, so I deserve to enjoy this last year where I am not a teen and not yet an adult... what does that make me???? Hmmm...

And since she was the first to msg me (well three minutes earlier), I promise to give her a virtual cookie.

Here's for the Gongster.

And Richard called me right on 0000hour sharp, so he deserved a cookie too.

Friends ask for my bday list, and for those who did not, here it my list:
Playstation Portable
Metal Gear Acid
Ghost in the Shell game.
Stephen King's Dark Tower 6 and 7
Artemis Fowl 4
Books, and more books.
New handphone
IPOD
A new car, Merc A sounds good.
New computer with 120 gigs HD.
Mangas!!! ANIMES!!!!

The list is long, but let's keep it short here, won't it? These are my favourites of my favourites. So choose... hehehe...

And since it is my bday, I did this quiz that I've gotten from the male gongster:

Your Birthdate: July 26

Your birth on the 26th day of the month (8 energy) modifies your life by increasing your capability to function and succeed in the business world.

In this environment you have the skills to work very well with others thanks to the 2 and 6 energies combining in this date.

There is a marked increase in organizational, managerial, and administrative abilities.

You are efficient and handle money very well.

You're ambitious and energetic, while generally remaining cooperative and adaptable.

You are conscientious and not afraid of responsibility.

Generally sociable and diplomatic, you tend to use persuasion rather than force.

You have a wonderful combination of being good at both the broad strokes and the fine detail; good at starting and continuing. This birthday is practical and realistic, often seeking material satisfaction.

There is a marked increase in organizational, managerial, and administrative abilities.
Organization? I can barely organize my study time-table. Managerial? I can't even manage my room. Administrative? Like so not.

You are efficient and handle money very well.

Yup, here's your Miss efficient, a job well done, and millions more screwed up. I handle money well, just gimme the money!!!

You're ambitious and energetic, while generally remaining cooperative and adaptable.
I'm ambitious - I want to win the nobel prize, I'm energetic, I'm your little nocturnal kid that gets hyper all the time. Cooperative?? Hmm... in breaking rules? I'm in. And adaptable? So far so good.

You are conscientious and not afraid of responsibility.
Conscientious? Like in reliable and careful? SO NOT. And not afraid of responsibility? Something's definitely wrong here. I run from responsibility like a mouse runs from a cat.

Generally sociable and diplomatic, you tend to use persuasion rather than force.
I'm sociable, but not diplomatic. You are either with me, or you are my enemy. And I rather use force. You are my friend, or go to hell.

This birthday is practical and realistic, often seeking material satisfaction.
Yes, I seek material satisfaction (look at bday list) and I'm practical and realistic. All those presents will be mine.

Anyway, here is a birthday wish that I would like to share with all my readers and friends... may we all stay friends forever, even if we will soon be parting ways.

That was so cliched that I nearly puked, but I meant it.

A happy birthday to me.

Doesn't this just beat all?
